HD DVD and Blu-ray releases on June 19th, 2007
Wow, talk about a slow week. One movie between the two formats, but it isn't just HD formats that are in a drought, new releases for DVDs are pretty much non-existent this week as well. The one and only title this week is from Disney and part of the same series that brought us the Chronicles of Narnia. The Bridge to Terabithia actually has a better IMDB rating than chronicles at 7.5, uses AVC and includes a lossless PCM surround track, all on a BD50 disc. Don't worry HD DVD fans, you only have to wait one more week before one of the biggest weeks in the format's history when 17 new titles come out next Tuesday.
