60 reasons to own a PSP: part 10

Whoops. After E3, we accidentally left this poor feature behind. Now, we're back on track, with a few new reasons added for the newly redesigned PSP.

46. Connect to a TV
The new PSP-2000 easily connects to a television, allowing users to play games and movies on the big screen. But, even older PSP owners can mod their system to get their PSP games on a TV screen ... it just involves a little bit more work.

47. Built-in clock and calendar
You should already have some other way of telling the time -- but it doesn't hurt that PSP can know the time as well. In fact, if you have an active wi-fi signal, it can automatically adjust the time via the internet. Games can (but very rarely) take advantage of PSP's internal clock.

48. Built-in speakers
The built-in speakers allow players to play their games without headphones ... but more importantly, it allows the PSP to play music without any additional hardware. This essentially makes the system a portable jukebox -- you wish your iPod could do that.

49. Additional control options for PS3 games
A demonstration showed a PSP used as a rear-view mirror in F1 Championship. This is just one of the many possibilities the system's connectivity with the PS3 can offer. Yes, it's similar to the Game Boy's connectivity with the Gamecube ... but with less cables involved.

50. PSP-PS3 cross-saves for PS1 games
Did you know that your PS1 games can be played on both PS3 and PSP ... and your game save can be transferred between both? You can start playing at home, then continue playing on the go, and then resume play back at home.
