Mio Technology and Navman brands merge

The GPS marketplace just whittled off another name. Mio and Navman are merging brands under the Navman Mio nameplate. Mio Navman, however, will continue as a brand in the UK, Spain, Australia, and New Zealand. Both are already subsidiaries of Mitac which acquired Navman back in February. The move is said to merge the hardware competency of Mio with the software expertise of Navman. 'Twas just an inevitability, really.
