VC Monday Madness: Mario Golf and Shining Force II

There were lots of titles that released this week, both on store shelves and distributed through the Wii. On the Virtual Console, we've got two games. So, hit up the video above, then head past the break for the rest.

Mario Golf (N64, 1 - 4 players, 1,000 Points)
Wii Fanboy says: do not download

Camelot makes great golf games, don't get me wrong, but with the chance that the GameCube title could get re-branded as a Play on Wii game, as well as the hefty price tag, I can't suggest you shell out $10 on this.

Shining Force II (Sega Genesis, 1 player, 800 Points)
Wii Fanboy says: download it!

Shining Force II is a big game. For $8, you're getting an RPG that fans have loved for years, as well as a game that you'll easily invest hours and hours into. If that sounds like your cup of tea, then go for it and check out Shining Force and Shining Force II.

Each week, we here at Wii Fanboy like to check out the latest Virtual Console releases in our VC Monday Madness feature, in the hopes that you can make the most sound decision possible regarding purchasing retro titles from the Wii Shop Channel. If you're looking for more retro goodness, check out Virtually Overlooked, which talks about games that should be on the Virtual Console.
