Don't Panic: Frequently asked questions in 3.0.2

Most realms should be up and running patch 3.0.2by now soon, and there are a lot of questions floating around, many that we're seeing asked repeatedly. Fortunately, we're here with all the answers.

I right-clicked my mount/vanity pet and it disappeared! Where did it go?
Mounts and vanity pets get their own tab in the interface now. They will now be learned as spells, and will no longer take up bag space.

Where are my Badges of Justice/BG marks/other tokens?
Like mounts and pets, they too have their own place out of your bags, in the "currency" tab on your character sheet (default binding "K"). Free bag spaces! It's inventory Christmas.

Where's the harbor?
Stormwind Harbor is in Stormwind. You can't get to Northrend yet for obvious reasons, but there is a boat to take you to Auberdine. Stormwind city guards will help you get to the harbor, or just head for the tunnel between the park and the Cathedral district.

Where's the barber shop?
Ironforge, Stormwind, Orgrimmar, Undercity, and Area 52, according to WoWWiki. City guards in those cities will direct you to them.

Where do you get glyphs?
Glyphs are created by a player who has learned Inscription, the new profession. So hit up the auction house, the trade channel, or an Inscription leveling guide.

What's this about a lexicon?
Some glyphs require you to be standing by a Lexicon of Power to apply them. You'll find a Lexicon by any Inscription trainer (ask a guard in a major city).

What can I buy with Achievement points?
Nothing. They only track how far you've gotten in your inevitable quest to achieve all the achievements. If you want to get started, take a look at some easy achievements you can do now.

What add-ons are ready to use with the patch?

My pet's looking at me funny, and I don't seem to be able to train him. What gives?

Can I just see the dang patch notes already?
Blizz seems to have finally fixed the official patch notes to be reasonably correct; here's what they've posted.

What's that new icon by my minimap?
Probably just the awesome new official in-game calendar.

I hear there are new arenas?
Yes.

What is this Spellpower thing I hear everyone talking about?
Read and learn; in short, +healing and +damage are being collapsed into one stat. Though you'll have less spellpower than you did +healing, your healing spells will get additional benefit from it, so your healing output will be the same.

Help! I got too much spellpower! Is there any sort of built-in threat monitoring utility?
Yes, there are built-in aggro meters, sort of. Still, I wouldn't put away your Omen just yet.

Why is the Death Knight button greyed-out on the character creation screen?
You can't make a DK until Wrath hits. It's just there to taunt you for now.

I'm a bear. What the heck happened to all my armor?
It got nerfed, fuzzy. Sorry. The Dire Bear Form armor multiplier was reduced from 400% to 370%, and the bonus armor has been removed from pieces like Heavy Clefthoof Boots. When do we get dual specs?
Not until the first content patch after Wrath, sadly.

How about the new battleground, Strand of the Ancients?
That one will go live with Wrath itself. Under a month to go!
