Verizon's FiOS TV expansions: November 1, 2008

Yet again, it's been a busy week for the folks in Verizon's FiOS division. Aside from sliding politics into its FiOS1 local TV coverage and bringing hamstrung ABC HD video-on-demand content to all FiOS TV subscribers, the outfit also rolled out more HD channels in the Washington metropolitan area and Massachusetts. Additionally, Shoreline and Mill Creek, Washington decided to grant the carrier a cable franchise, and a new wave of interactive DVR features were launched in southeastern Pennsylvania / Delaware.
