WRUP: All frakking things must come to an end

Tonight we begin saying our last goodbyes to Battlestar Galactica. She was a sturdy show that evolved the space opera and gave us plenty of thrills, drama and frakking over the years. Although we hold out hope for Caprica, we'll certainly miss the adventures of humanity's last survivors. We'll miss you Galactica ... but we still got no love for those ridiculously long breaks between seasons. Hugs. Let's see what everyone's playing ...

  • Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): I'll be playing some Sins of a Solar Empire Entrenchment. I like the changes made to the game. It feels faster, but I'm not sure if that's accurate. I'll also be finishing off Tomb Raider: Underworld.

  • Andrew Yoon: What am I not playing this weekend? Burnout Paradise (the new boost cars are awesome!), Prince of Persia Epilogue, Resident Evil 5 (on Professional difficulty), and a bit of Astro Tripper.

  • Ben Gilbert (@BigBossBgilbert): With Philly Beer Week coming to a close, I'm playing the "make up for lost time on Joystiq" game and keeping myself available. In between bouts of talking smack to Griffin about his Pokeddiction, I'll be (seriously!) working on MGS4. Even if it means ripping out my ears and eyes during the hours of monotonous cut scenes about nonsense.

  • Christopher Grant (@ChrisGrant): With Halo Wars and 50 Cent: BotS both wrapped up (don't make me decide which one I enjoyed more!) I can return to Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, Prince of Persia, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Mirror's Edge, Call of Duty: World at War, Penny Arcade Adventures: Ep 2 ... and I haven't even picked up Killzone 2 or Resident Evil 5 yet ... and I've got Metal Gear Solid Touch on the iPhone to review ... but really I'll spend most of my weekend working on my yes-it's-still-not-done-yet house.

  • David Hinkle (@davehinkle): For me, it's equal parts MadWorld and Resident Evil 5 this weekend. I also have MLB2K9 sitting here for when I need to scratch that sports itch.

  • Dustin Burg (@SuperDunner): Peggle, because I'm addicted.

  • Griffin McElroy (@griffinmcelroy): With nothing particularly new or exciting on the docket, I'll probably finishing my tiresome quest to catch em' all, and perhaps see if there's anything new worth playing in LittleBigPlanet.

  • James Ransom-Wiley: Checking the mailbox for Resident Evil 5 -- and then playing Resident Evil 5 ... I hope. Please? I'll sell my soul to a majini if I have to!

  • Jason Dobson (@eToyChest): While much of my Friday will be spent getting away from all things video games and enjoying a much needed get away, the bulk of the weekend's play time will be spent behind the wheel of Burnout Paradise. Criterion, I just can't quit you.

  • Jem Alexander (@Yembles): I'm still in the Middle East so my gaming choices are limited. I picked up Patapon 2 at the airport and am loving it so far. It's keeping my attention much more than the first one, but I find it's a little unclear with regards to what to do next and how to upgrade my Patapons. I'm sure I'll figure it out on the 8 hour flight back home -- if the battery lasts long enough, that is.

  • JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): Not much gaming for me this weekend, because I'll be at SXSW Interactive. If you see someone who looks like a miniature, nervous Gordon Freeman, say hello! If I get any downtime, however, I'll pop in Peggle DS or try to improve my stage times in Docomodake.

  • Justin McElroy (@JustinMcElroy): I'm probably going to keep playing some HAWX, but the first episode of Wallace and Gromit that just arrived in the inbox is looking mighty tempting.

  • Kevin Kelly (@gadgetguy): I'm at SXSW and will be diving in and out of interactive panels and checking out the Screenburn Arcade (http://sxsw.com/interactive/screenburn/arcade). I also downloaded an iPhone game called FlightControl which is strangely addicting. Land planes without causing a wreck. Whee!

  • Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): I'll be playing through House of the Dead: Overkill ... again. I also hope to have Killzone 2 and Halo Wars wrapped up by the weekend, if only to make room for some Valkyria Chronicles. I also hope Ben sticks to his promise of ripping out his ears and eyes, because he clearly doesn't deserve them.

  • Majed Athab: KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU KIJUJU. It's a MadWorld out there, isn't it?

  • Randy Nelson (@DangerPenguin): RE5, RE5, playing RE5. (Sung to the tune of "Jingle Bells.") Also: I should probably face both DLC episodes for Tomb Raider: Underworld. I'm expecting lots of the part of recent -- actually all -- TR games that I don't like: combat. Hopefully there's at least a good puzzle or two.

  • Richard Mitchell (@SenseiRAM): It's all about Halo Wars now. My online game is improving and I've started to work my way through the Campaign on Heroic. Gotta find those skulls and Black Boxes! When I'm not playing that, it will be either House of the Dead: Overkill or Peggle XBLA. I hate to say it, but once Peggle DS releases, I'll probably buy it a third time.

  • Xav de Matos (@Xav): This weekend I'm committed to finishing Resident Evil 5 (despite the bumps in the road I'm enjoying the ride). Also, I've got a lot of Killzone 2 to finish and Peggle XBLA... sweet, sweet Peggle. It's a helluva drug.

  • Justin Glow (@justinglow): ...
