Sony Ericsson Vivaz pro gets FCC clearance again, this time in tart North American flavor

A 900 / 2100 edition of the Symbian-powered Vivaz pro not quite what you were looking for? No worries -- just 24 hours after the approval of its European doppelganger, the North American version of Sony Ericsson's landscape QWERTY slider has now received the blessing of the good bureaucrats up in Washington. Just how North American is it, exactly? Well, it's doing WCDMA Bands II and V, which means it'll work on AT&T, Rogers, Bell, and Telus (sorry, T-Mobile). We're not sure what kind of a market there is for a high-end Symbian touchscreen device around these parts, but hey -- with 720p video and continuous autofocus, it's probably worth a look.
