Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes, will arrive in North America on October 12. Launching simultaneously on Wii and PlayStation 3, Samurai Heroes sees you "picking up the arms of more than a dozen samurai heroes" in 16th century Japan. With so many limbs strewn about, that must have been a pretty horrific time.
Action fans will be keen to see how the game was shaped by Devil May Cry 4 producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi, and history buffs should be pleased by Sengoku Basara's attentive retelling of all the famous battles between Japan's magical super-generals. Sure, the 200-hit air juggles are an unbelievable embellishment (most historians balk at anything over 147 hits), but if you're looking for a 1:1 combat simulation, try Dynasty Warriors instead.
