WoW Moviewatch: The Device Has Been Modified

When my wife and I first saw The Device Has Been Modified by Baron Soosdon, all I could think at the time was, "If only these powers could be harnessed for good." The imagery, action and content of Soosdon's epic video was so compelling that dozens of backstories instantly came to mind. It was an inspirational video, and it doesn't seem an iota dated even now.

While the original song is by JoCo for the video game Portal, the Baroon took that source material and made it something incredibly new. (For the sake of story, however, the good Baron does link this Gnomeregan with Aperture Science.) I think it fits the twisted remains of gnomish technology better than any kind of freaky cube, anyway. The Device Has Been Modified is one of my favorite machinima, and I think it's definitely worth another look.
