Fight Night Champion screens are a knockout
EA Sports has released a handful of new images from its latest boxing game, Fight Night Champion, and while they look absolutely great, they unfortunately don't show anything from the small snippet of the game we saw in action last week.
%Gallery-107396%In a fight set at the beginning of the title's career mode, the player's character was boxing in a sanctioned match inside of a prison, the ring surrounded by a crowd of inmates dressed orange jumpsuits.
The game's been shown in motion, but this sequence really drove home the new cinematic presentation -- complete with between-round and in-match cutscenes -- that EA Sports is pursuing with the franchise. It was like watching a clip from a boxing movie, so the development team's definitely doing something right, not to mention totally unprecedented. The finished product will enter the retail ring sometime in 2011.
