WRUP: Stabbing the Brotherhood

Oh my, an addictive bite from the stabby bug is the last thing we needed in this jam-packed Q4. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is a soufflé of a follow-up to one of our 2009 GOTY winners, with a rich multiplayer component that is quite savory -- a potential game changer for anyone who had started associating the term "online multiplayer" mainly with shooters. It is a fast-paced, yet methodical, tour de murder.

What's everyone playing?


  • Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): Stabbing away at Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood's multiplayer. Trying to put more of a dent in Assassin's Creed 2 and then probably some Dance Central.

  • Ben Gilbert (@BigBossBgilbert): I'm not sure how much longer I can resist the attraction of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood's multiplayer, but as of right now, setting Borgia towers ablaze is still top priority. That is, when I'm not playing Create. And there's this copy of CoD: Blops on my desk and ... oh, right, it's Q4.

  • Chris Buffa (@ChrisBuffa): Need For Speed Hot Pursuit, followed by some Call of Duty: Black Ops!

  • Christopher Grant (@ChrisGrant): At the rate I'm going, I'll be playing Castlevania: Lords of Shadow for the rest of time. This is a generous game. I'll try to pull myself from that to spend some time with Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.

  • Randy Nelson (@DangerPenguin): I'm spending an epic weekend with your friend and mine, Mickey Mouse. I'm sure he won't mind taking some time to play Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit online.

  • Richard Mitchell (@SenseiRAM) I'd love to get in on some Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood with the [JOY] clan, but I'm stuck with Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. It's hard doing this job sometimes.
