FEAR 3 set to spook the UK on May 27

If you're a horror game enthusiast living in the United Kingdom, you may want to spend the next couple of months avoiding any circumstances that may frighten you. Warner Bros. just announced that FEAR 3 is set to launch in your territory on May 27, meaning you've only got a little over nine weeks to store up all of your body's natural terror juices before playing through FEAR 3's titularly appropriate, spooky campaign.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to publish F.E.A.R. 3 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in the UK on 27th May 2011

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today confirmed that F.E.A.R. 3 is set to release on the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PC in the UK on 27th May 2011.

F.E.A.R. 3, a heart-pounding paranormal horror first person shooter unleashing intense combat, compelling narrative and co-op play that evolves the franchise.

Alma returns in F.E.A.R. 3 but this time her sons Point Man and Paxton Fettel introduce divergent co-op, giving players distinctly different abilities affecting their own play as well as the experience of their co-op partner. Gamers participate in single player or co-op modes as Point Man, a genetically enhanced super soldier originally introduced in F.E.A.R., or they can play cooperatively as his conniving brother Paxton Fettel, whose incredible telekinetic power has given him life beyond the grave.
