Puzzle Quest 2 is now 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live Arcade. With a sequel that stands up to and surpasses the original in many ways, it's actually a better buy at the same price as original Puzzle Quest.

Meanwhile, Puzzle Quest Galactrix is still 1600 Microsoft Points ($20) on XBLA. Nope, we can't explain it either.

Puzzle Quest™ 2 is Now Available for 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE Arcade!

LOS ANGELES – April 12, 2011 – D3Publisher (D3P) today confirmed that Puzzle Quest 2 is now available for download at a new low price of 800 Microsoft Points ($10) on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Puzzle Quest 2 is an IGN "Editors' Choice Award" recipient and marks the return of the ultimate puzzle adventure in an all-new fantasy universe and is the follow-up to Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, an Interactive Achievement Award winner for "Best Downloadable Game of the Year". Puzzle Quest 2 is rated "E10+" (Mild Fantasy Violence, Mild Language, Mild Suggestive Theme) by the ESRB for Xbox 360.
