The Queue: The origin of Ghostcrawler

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky, senior editor at WoW Insider and co-founder of a new mobile gaming news website, will be your host today.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then this picture tells the story of the origin of Ghostcrawler. Shamelessly found via a thread on Reddit.

Hal asked:

Do you think we'll ever see another questline like the Scepter of the Shifting Sands? Or has the design philosophy moved past such things?

Doubtful. That quest line was very epic, yes, but it also wouldn't fit well in to today's paradigm of accessible content, war between the factions, and the "everyone has a chance" mentality. I think a more likely thing to happen would be another item/quest chain like the Battered Hilt.

Mrespman asked:

Are there any new patterns for tradeskills in 4.1? i.e. new blacksmithing or tailoring patterns? Or do I have to keep stockpiling orbs for my tailor with nothing to use them on but the dress?

No new patterns (that I know of) in patch 4.1. Of course, someone prove me wrong now ... As for your orbs, just keep stockpiling them and selling your created dress. Make some gold, be happy for what it is, and have some cake.

Supracom asked:

Did you just call Magni a buffoon? Can you do that??!

Magni's a buffoon.

Condor asked:

I know there's no new Tier gear in 4.1, am I safe to assume my Valor Points won't all shift down into Justice Points?

That's correct. Valor points will not become justice points in patch 4.1.
