I know that it has been said in the past that, each class gets an even and thorough revamp per patch, but I have to say that the rogue class gets the fewest changes. Yes, we received some great changes, Stealthing at will and a larger radius for Trick of the Trade and some minor bonuses (i.e. sub rogues get movement bonus in stealth if they take the talent points). Eventually, I'm expected to hear Blizzard announce, "So, ummm, yeah, we finished the rogues. Seriously. We're done."

Can you imagine anything they would change or add at this point for the rogue class? The announcement of the new x-pac is expected within the next few months and I've given up any hope of the developers making any changes that would differentiate the class since the beginning of WotLK.

I wouldn't expect rogues to change much. They're easily the most thematically and mechanically complete class in the game and have been for a long time. It doesn't surprise me that the devs haven't made sweeping overhauls to them; I'm just not really sure it's necessary. What we've gotten instead are a long series of quality-of-life changes, such as the change to Stealth, the removal of Vanishing Powder, and the ability to toggle Blade Flurry. And those are pretty okay with me.

Does demoralizing shout break CC? It seems like a good debuff to use on mobs, but I wouldn't want to be more trouble than help to the group, as you can imagine :) Also, does it generate lots of aggro?

It does no damage and generates very little threat, so you shouldn't be in any danger of pulling aggro with it while in an instance as fury or arms. It also won't break CC.

Yep, Al'Akir is dead. Throne of the Four Winds is in Skywall. It's a shame -- Al'Akir seemed only to be partnered with Deathwing for convenience's sake, whereas Ragnaros is pretty clearly out for revenge. In fact, for all his huffing and puffing, Neptulon seems to be the most level-headed elemental lord out there.

It's important to note that the model was named "Anthricyst" (which, by the way, is based on anthracite, a kind of coal), not the boss itself. There are a lot of models with names that don't match up with their actual names. Perhaps he had the name in an early planning phase or something, but the only way you get "Antichrist" out of "Anthricyst" is if you're trying really, really hard. They were probably just making it easier to pronounce.

No, thank heaven. Blizzard has indicated that it's pretty much done with the "stack resistance gear" style of raiding, and the game is a lot better off for it.
