PSA: Kenshi slices up Mortal Kombat today

With all of Monday's barbecues, subsequent food comas and fireworks, you may have forgotten all about Kenshi, the blind swordsman with psychic powers. He's available for download today in Mortal Kombat for 400 MS Points ($5). If you've already snagged the Mortal Kombat season pass on Xbox 360, you've already paid for him.

Additionally, two more klassic kostumes are up for grabs as part of the free compatibility download: Smoke and Noob Saibot.

Mortal Kombat's newest warrior enters the arena today and while he may be blind, he can still find his opponents with ease! Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios announce that Kenshi is now available for download on PlayStation Network and Microsoft Xbox Live. Joining the already-released downloadable blood thirsty warrior Skarlet, Kenshi is the second of four new downloadable combatants and comes with a unique move set, an arcade ladder story ending and two brutal fatalities. Kenshi is available on Microsoft Xbox Live for 400 Microsoft Points or for download as a part of the Season Pass program or for $4.99 on PlayStation Network. Additionally, available today is a free compatibility pack featuring two klassic skins – Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 - inspired Noob Saibot and Smoke.

Mortal Kombat is the most brutal installment of the legendary fighting game to date and is currently available on the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. The game, along with the DLC, have all been developed by NetherRealm Studios, led by Mortal Kombat creator and creative director Ed Boon.
