Must See HDTV (July 11th - 17th)
Summertime is in full swing and that means even more shows created with the warm months of the year in mind are premiering this weeks. There's also a few notable Blu-ray releases and a videogame (NCAA Football '12) on the list this week but we'll talk about a few of the shows that caught our eye this time around.
The Closer
The seventh and final season of this police drama kicks off this week. While the last thing the world has ever needed is another cop procedural, between Kyra Sedgewick's Brenda Leigh Johnson and her eclectic investigative team we've stayed intrigued by every episode so far. Battlestar Galactica's Mary McDonnell will head a spinoff titled Major Crimes after this series comes to a close, we'll be watching every episode until then to see if they can make a smooth transition.

2011 MLB All-Star Game
Star players may be withdrawing from the rosters left and right, but there's still plenty of talent taking the field tomorrow night on Fox. Before the game kicks off however, the Home Run Derby will be in 3D for the second consecutive year tonight on ESPN 3D.

Breaking Bad
Bryan Cranston has made an incredible turn from the dad on Malcolm in the Middle to cancer patient / meth dealer / science teacher on Breaking Bad, which begins its fourth season this weekend. Judging from the season four trailer, his Walter White character is in deep trouble from all sides -- so what else is new?
