Reader's Digest with subscription heads to iPad
The latest update (V3.1) to the US Reader's Digest for iPad app is now available for download through the iOS App Store. The update brings with it two new features: you can begin reading without having to wait for the whole issue to load, and subscription options are now available.
Starting with September's issue, subscriptions are priced at $14.99 annually or $1.99 per-month on a rolling subscription that can be cancelled at any time.
As a thank you to those already subscribed to the print edition, Reader's Digest is offering six months free access to the iPad edition. Simply download the app and tap on the "Current Magazine Subscribers" button.
The app is free to download form the iOS App Store and comes with a free sample issue to get you started.
