The Queue: My power, my pleasure, my pain

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

We like this song so much that we sang it twice at karaoke tonight.

techno-warrior6 asked:

Correct me if im wrong here but did ever add the role roll bonus in LFR and if they did do you ever think we are going to see anything like in 5-mans? it dosn't have to be a big advantage just one that stops me getting out rolled by a huntard, everytime the end time tank shoulders drop.

A CM did recently say that Blizzard wants to roll out the Raid Finder loot system to 5-mans, too. There are obviously some kinks to work out first, though.

Necromann asked:

Can we turn in darkmoon artifacts next month that we turned in this month? I know that we can't turn in the same artifact more than once during the same faire.

Yes, as far as we're aware, you should be able to do that.

Eldoron asked:

Hm I just checked the MoP talent calculator and it says that shamans get their mail armor specialization at lvl 50, while hunters get it at lvl 1. Anyone knows about that? Or it is just a glitch in the calculator?

Just a glitch. Hunters can't wear mail until level 40 anyway, so that perk would serve no purpose.

Elmo asked:

What are those maws around Wyrmrest anyway, are they like proper old gods like Yogg Saron and N'zoth or parts of their bodies or perhaps an old demigod or other underling??

They're "spawn" of the Old Gods, so we can probably consider them actual offspring; this is in comparison to Faceless Ones, who were (apparently) originally other races and were transformed into their current forms.

Baribal asked:

Are the loot lockouts from normal mode and raid finder shared? For some reason I thought this was part of the change after the "Paragon (and other guilds) Exploit"

So if I kill Ultraxion right now on raid finder and I kill him tonight in a guild raid, will I be able to roll on gear in both?

No and yes, respectively.

arnav.is asked:

I recently transferred my servers and was forced a name change on my year old lv 85 pally. When I looked up the old name on the new server on armory, it was an Inactive Lv 12 B.Elf Pally. I raised a ticket and blizzard said that they will look into it.

Have there been any such cases previously and how does blizzard usually handle this kind of stuff?

Blizzard has released names held by low-level characters in the past, but we don't know the actual policy on it. You'll have to wait and see.
