Rock of Ages gets into the Christmas spirit on Steam
With Christmas and winter officially rolling in, it's only appropriate that Rock of Ages would roll out an update to celebrate the holiday season. The Steam version of the game has received a free update that adds some festive new options. First and foremost is the snowman skin for your boulder, which you can see above. The update also permanently unlocks every defensive unit in the game and "introduces a number of limited time interface changes."
For those who haven't pick up Rock of Ages just yet, the game is currently available for $5 on Steam, half the usual price. It's also featured in Steam's Awesome Indie Bundle, which gathers together ten games, including The Binding of Isaac, Jamestown, Blocks That Matter and more – all for $20.

ROCK OF AGES FOR PC GETS A MERRY UPDATE FOR CHRISTMAS!
Fa-ra-ra-ra-ra, ra-ra-ra-Rock of Ages.
IRVINE, CALIFORNIA -- DECEMBER 19, 2011 -- ATLUS and ACE Team today revealed that the Steam-exclusive PC version of Rock of Ages™, their balls-to-the-walls game of tower offense featuring fast-paced strategy, high art, and gigantic boulders of doom, would ring in the holidays and the new year with a Christmas content update. The holiday-themed content includes an all-new Snowman's Head boulder skin (for both online and local use), permanently unlocks all defensive units for all maps, and introduces a number of limited time interface changes to make the game all the merrier!
As part of Steam's Holiday Sale, Rock of Ages for PC is now 50% off for a limited time and is also included in in the heavily discounted Awesome Indie Bundle!
