WRUP: Playin' la Vita loca

The PlayStation Vita launched this week with the "First Edition" bundle, but the mainstream hardware launch will take place next Wednesday. Check out our Vita launch guide page for easy access to our reviews and other details regarding the PSVita.

What's everyone playing this weekend?

  • Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): I want to play Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, but life keeps getting in the way. Have a lovely wedding to attend Saturday and biz to handle Sunday.
  • Ben Gilbert (@RealBenGilbert): Delving further into the Darkness (2 co-op), ziplining even more around Gotham City (Impostors), and potentially continuing elderly Ezio's journey of Revelations.
  • David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): I'm close to 100 in Gears of War 3, so I'll probably spend some time getting there this weekend. Oh, and Rayman Origins. So much Rayman Origins.
  • JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): I think I'm going to kick back and relax with... no, I'm kidding, still reviewing Vita games.
  • Jess Conditt (@JessConditt): Cell: Emergence and some Borderlands, if I'm feeling frisky.
  • Jordan Mallory (@Jordan_Mallory): I'll be spending all weekend on the couch with a bottle of NyQuil and the Mythbusters Big Blasts collection. I apologize in advance for any unusually existential posts that may go up over the next couple of days.
  • Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): It's a weekend with old acquaintances. I have a date with Mr. Alan Wake (caught in the midst/mists of an American Nightmare) and Ryu Hayabusa, who's back one (?) more time in Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus. I was going to make a joke about the bloated number of ports for that game, but then I remembered how I keep playing them without fail.
  • Mike Schramm (@MikeSchramm): I haven't had much gaming time lately. Sorry to say I have unopened copies of both Kingdoms of Amalur and Rayman Origins waiting for me, if I ever find a moment at home to sit down and play them this weekend.
  • Richard Mitchell (@TheRichardM): I have entered Alan Wake's American Nightmare. If I can manage to wake up, I'll spend the rest of my time with Lumines: Electronic Symphony and Pushmo.
  • Steven Wong: I'll be playing the PC release of Alan Wake and playing more Kingdoms of Amalur.
  • Xav de Matos (@Xav): I should probably finish Resident Evil: Revelations, but I'll probably just keep playing through Alan Wake on PC.
