This week we had Mike back with his EVE Online and RIFT streams, followed by MJ with a ton of great stuff, including Aion, Lord of the Rings Online, TERA and City of Heroes! Woo! I finished up by showing viewers how to build clothing attachments in Second Life. So stop reading this and click past the cut. Check out the videos and let us know what you think in the comments section. Here, have some popcorn.

In this week's EVE Online stream, Mike demonstrated how not to tank with a Drake as well as how to be terrible at operating a tractor beam. Luckily, Spaceguy Rotsuda's cunning wiles and handsome charm helped Mike bluff his way into a couple of tier two missions, which in turn led to a significant number of pirate rat explosions.

Mike continued his reckless rift behavior in RIFT this week, opening tears and soloing invasions like a champion. And he died only once! Check out the stream for an alarming number of close calls and a very peculiar guild invite from a character who seemed more intent on flirting with Mike's character than closing rifts and killing monsters. Oh, and fireballs, of course.

New content is always a blast to explore, and the siren song of Skyshrine could be ignored no longer! After passing through the Withered Lands, MJ and her trusty(ish) mercenary took on a mission to return to the past to defeat the Awakened forces sacking Skyshrine. Although the fate of the first boss she encountered was in question, she tore through the rest of the instance and finally faced the final boss right at the buzzer. Did she complete the mission and receive her reward? Watch and see!

What's this, a rifting event you say? How could MJ resist! Tossing aside any thoughts of dungeons, MJ found the first rift she could and boldly charged through. Of course, this rift happened to lock her in an enclosed area with no escape. No matter; she and her 27 levels took the challenge. If you think rifting is only for the high-leveled and uber-geared, watch as the Elyos amass to purge the area of her scary black feathers and as she faces down no less than 10 Elyos.

If you have ever wanted to check out the awesome music system in Lord of the Rings Online, here is your chance. Starting with a quick walk through and ending with a concert in front of the Prancing Pony (complete with impromptu backup dancers!), MJ guides players through the basics of the music system and shows how any player can join in and feel like a real rock star. Curious as to what songs made the playlist? Tune in to listen, then grab your own lute and start a-pluckin'!

Tera banner

Who doesn't like checking out a new game when it is released? But with so many games and that pesky real life, sometimes you just can't pick it up yourself. Well, never fear -- even if you couldn't jump into TERA at launch yourself, MJ did it for you. From the opening cinematics through character creation and then on through the beginning tutorial, she gives you a first taste of TERA. Check out what you can expect when firing up this brand-new title. Of course, there is more to a game then just character creation and a tutorial, so MJ dived back into TERA to show off more of the combat and the world. A favorite feature? The fact that a Mystic can chain cast a blast! The most awkward? When all the NPCs start trying to pick up MJ. Bet you never knew gathering a rock could be so seductive.

It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's a flaming redhead with a panache for pyromania! And funny voices. What brought MJ to City of Heroes? Why, YOU did! So what's more fitting than joining up with Massively viewers to experience the exploits of Atlas Park? With her companions, MJ torches and scorches her way through missions until she is granted that one great and glorious pinnacle of all things super-hero -- the ability to fly! Supergroups are definitely more fun than solo heroics. And they make better street bands too!

Lastly, I attempted to show how to build clothing attachments in Second Life. Want a backpack or a cool dagger at your side? Well, I show you how to lay it out, attach it to your avatar and to adjust accordingly. Of course, later in the stream, two awesome-looking mesh-wearers showed up and made everything I could build look silly, but it's still a great one to watch if you've ever wanted to know how those Second Life avatars look so cool!

Did you miss Massively TV last week? Are you too busy to dig through a week's worth of video to get to the highlights? Never fear! We've done the work for you right here in Previously on MV TV, a roundup of epic battles, tragic deaths, and juicy outtakes from last week's livestreams.
