WRUP: Free ticket to the Borderlands

With deep discounts on both Amazon and Steam, and the option to play for free on Steam until Sunday at 1PM Pacific, now's the perfect time to check out Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition.

What else is everyone playing this weekend?

  • Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): I played Minecraft for the first time last night. I'll be playing Minecraft all weekend. That is all.
  • Ben Gilbert (@RealBenGilbert): Sarah's gone all weekend, so I'm gonna play "don't devolve into a mess of a human being." Also, Spelunky/Tony Hawk/Minecraft.
  • David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): A recent visit from my pal Phil has gotten me back into Trials Evolution, so I'll be spending some time with that this weekend. Outside of Trials, I expect there will be healthy doses of the usual Gears 3 and Mass Effect 3.
  • JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher):[...]
  • Jess Conditt (@JessConditt): Deadlight and A Virus Named Tom, two games that aren't related at all, but very easily could be.
  • Jordan Mallory (@Jordan_Mallory): I'll be spending every free moment inside of a television, by which I mean Persona 4 Arena showed up.
  • Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): I should really play some of my recent Steam acquisitions, like Botanicula and Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers.
  • Mike Schramm (@MikeSchramm): Playing Mass Effect 3, League of Legends, and re-reading the entire Sandman series on my iPad.
  • Mike Suszek (@MikeSuszek): I'm going back in time with Backbreaker and Blitz: The League this week, but I'm also giving Dyad and Spelunky some attention.
  • Richard Mitchell (@TheRichardM): I don't see myself playing anything other than The Secret World and Hero Academy this weekend. I should really finish Mass Effect 3 someday.
  • Steven Wong: I'll probably be playing Orcs Must Die! to get myself ready for part 2. Starting a new character in Borderlands might sound like a good idea too.
  • Xav de Matos (@Xav): AFK – San Diego.
