The Queue: Sabin suplexing himself

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

No ...! The unthinkable ...!!!

mugutumage asked:

are we getting our 11th character slot with MoP or with 5.0.4?

With MoP. You have to purchase the expansion to get it.

levi.coffey asked:

ok, i only ask this because the first two questions were both answered in the comments, by me, just about exactly how you answered them, and i've been seeing this more and more - why have you guys been picking questions that have already been answered adequately? sometimes you give credit to the commenters who answered, sometimes you don't. i can understand the one about how you guys don't edit questions before publishing, that's a bit of a personal blow, but still - is it just because news is slow? because you don't want to go through hundreds of comments looking for questions? something i'm not thinking of at all?

Simply put, not even I read every Queue, and the average reader definitely doesn't. Most won't check back to see if someone answered their question in the comments, and understandably so, since this column is supposed to be about the staff answering questions. I mean, most of the questions asked in comments could probably be answered by a Google search, but that's not what a lot of question-askers are looking for. They want an answer they can point to or call their own. That's not to diminish the work commenters here do -- but commenters just have to understand that their answers will not always be read by their intended audience.

I read through every comment on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday's Queues. Every one, every time. We (the staff) know we'll see the same questions over and over every day until the expansion launches, and honestly, that's OK. Common questions are common for a reason -- people really want to know the answer, so if we answer those questions, more people will walk away happy (or at least informed).

Ron2 asked:

What's the adjective form of Pandaria? When you return to Stormwind, do you tell tales of your adventures in the Pandarian forests, or describe the many species of Pandaren fish, or show off the relics of ancient Pandanese civilizations?

Pandarian. Pandaren is a race and Pandanese is, I dunno, inaccurate? Worth a bop on the noggin?

Tucanfire1 asked:

If you have a vanilla account, you get 48% of discount from upgrading it all the way to MoP. Now as a question, anyone know if this has always been the case for upgrading multiple expansions or is it something new?

This is totally new and totally cool! Y'all should take advantage of it while it lasts.

Puntable asked:

I was not interested in Challenge Mode Dungeons until I found out that I can get 110 VP for finishing one in the "bronze" as opposed to 30 VP for a random Heroic. How fast does it have to be finished to get "bronze", or does it vary per dungeon?

It varies per dungeon -- some dungeons are obviously shorter than others, so I'm sure there'll be an "optimal" one to run once people math it out.

Necromann1 asked:

From MMO-champ "Epic Shoulder Enchants made by Scribes now require Inscription to use." Does this mean all shoulder enchants or are now scribe only or are those just the upgraded ones and they forgot to make them scribe only?

Only scribes can make/use shoulder enchants now. Shoulder enchants straight-up don't exist for anybody else.
