Lili hops to iOS on September 21, supports new iPod Touch

Lili is new iPod Touchoptimized game from exEpic devs, launches on iOS Sep 21

Lili, the upcoming adventure game/RPG hybrid from BitMonster Games, will be launched on iOS devices on September 21 – the same day the iPhone 5 and new iPod Touch arrive. In addition to a launch date, BitMonster has also revealed Lili will support the new iPod Touch line.

BitMonster Games is a studio composed of six industry veterans who left Epic Games to get into indie development. Lili is the studio's first game, built on Unreal Engine 3. Lee Perry, president of BitMonster, says the new hardware "allows us to bring a visual fidelity that is unmatched" to other games running Unreal Engine 3 on iOS. "We think Lili is a great first project, and we couldn't be prouder of what six guys in one room have been able to accomplish in only seven months," he said.

BitMonster Games Launches Game Title for iOS, 'Lili', Optimized for the new iPod touch

Epic Games Veterans Launch First Title As An Indie Game Development Studio

CARY, N.C. (September 12, 2012) – Today, BitMonster Games is excited to announce support for the new iPod touch with the release of their first title, "Lili". The title will be available in the App Store on September 21st. Lili is a quirky adventure RPG hybrid with stunning visuals, silky-smooth graphics and a cinematic storyline, made possible with the new iPod touch dual-core A5 chip with up to 2 times the processing performance and up to 7 times the graphic power of the previous generation all on the brilliant 4" Retina display. Using Epic's Unreal Engine 3, Lili will easily be one of the most visually-stunning games available on iOS.

"We are extremely excited to be able to bring Lili to new iPod touch ," said Lee Perry, president of BitMonster. "On the stunning 4-inch Retina display we are able to create a truly cinematic hand-held experience. The new graphics hardware allows us to bring a visual fidelity that is unmatched and we can't wait to share this amazing new character with the world."

On the mysterious island of Geos, Lili will meet a number of crazy folk, explore beautiful environments, solve some puzzles, and even challenge an oppressive regime or two along her way. Lili uses an amusing "non-combat" system for dealing with enemies, and sorts out a few personal issues along the way.

BitMonster has a long-term, multi-title licensing deal that gives the studio the rights to develop its 3D games with Epic Games' Unreal Engine technology, and Lili demonstrates the effectiveness of that technology.

"There's something amazing when you get the right platform, the right set of tools, and the right people together on a project," said Perry. "We think Lili is a great first project, and we couldn't be prouder of what six guys in one room have been able to accomplish in only seven months."
