Previously on MV TV: The week of September 15th

Previously On MV TV banner

Ah, what a week in livestreaming for the Massively crew! Luckily, no one was discouraged by the fact that I was unable to stream my usual amount because I was waiting on a new PC to arrive. What brave soldiers, what fearless souls! I begged them to go on without me, and... well, they did. Pretty easily, actually. Be sure to bookmark our livestream schedule page so you won't miss another!

Anyway, what did we do on to stream? Well, tons of stuff. I took some of the very best streams from last week and assembled them in one easy-to-swallow pill. All you have to do is sit back, relax, and watch the wackiness! Like what? Like Richie taking on some more Guild Wars 2 in beautiful HD; MJ leaping bravely into The Secret World, EverQuest II, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, City of Heroes and Aion; and Mike PvPing in EVE Online and World of Tanks. I rounded things off with my one stream of the week: a look at IMVU, a social MMO for those who really, really like to go goth.

Richie took the fight to the Sons of Svanir and their gigantic dragon totems in this week's Guild Wars 2 show. Despite being embroiled in many heroic battles, he takes the time to smell the roses and notes the exquisite details that ArenaNet has added to its latest MMO. Tyria is a living, breathing world that deserves to be savored.

Richie's OCD is firing on all cylinders in Guild Wars 2 as he pursues 100% map completion achievements in Lornar's Pass. Will he be able to nab those final, elusive points of interest, or will he cave to the pressure of a live audience and have his dreams dashed upon the rocks of despair? Tune in to find out!

The Secret World banner

Although they were perhaps not as blush-inducing as the Dragon sequence, MJ still had her moments as she stepped into the realm of the Illuminati. Watch as she tries to avoid the lure of the lore pieces on her runs through the streets of New York City.

EverQuest II banner

Anyone complaining that SOEmote was a waste of resources hasn't tried it! In fact, it made things exponentially more fun for MJ as she did arenas in Splitpaw Saga! Don't believe it? Watch for yourself and see how even a lower-level adventure pack can become hilariously fun!

Stalked by Snowmen returned for a second season today! Despite a glitch that made everything go quiet temporarily, MJ was finally able to complete The Arks of Harmony quest to allow her into that tower dungeon that taunted her so. At least that was the plan, but as plans tend to do, they went awry. Still, by the end she was inside. So what was it like? Check it out for yourself.

City of Heroes banner

City of Heroes players are passionate about their game and have been showing their support in different ways. This time, the event was a mass gathering of folks doing Positron Task Force runs. MJ added her support and joined in, running the first task force for the very first time. Could it be she made it through the entire 90 minutes without dying? Watch and see!

Aion banner

When NCsoft changed the mid-section of Steel Rake for soloers, it really changed! MJ found the requisite bosses still there, but the rest almost felt like a ghost ship. So many of the mobs went missing. Perhaps the Shugos simply weren't paying them enough.

EVE Online banner

This week on the EVE Online stream, Mike headed out into high-security space for a little bit of ice mining. Sure, it's not the most exciting thing that's ever happened in the history of EVE Online, but you gotta pay the bills somehow. Tune in for a glimpse of the closest thing to an endgame EVE Online has for miners.

World of Tanks banner

It was a rowdy Friday night as Mike took to the open battlefields of World of Tanks and knocked the heck out of some unsuspecting bits of armor. This week, Mike killed off some foes, dropped massive artillery shots, and even managed to get team killed for blocking a road. But seriously... you're in a tank. Can't you just go around?

OK, so you're tired of coming home to a batch of screaming kids and a pile of bills. Ever dream of putting on a layer of pale makeup, slapping on some fairy wings, and dancing the night away while on the back of a giant tortoise? Of course you have! You'd be right at home in IMVU, a surprisingly fun social MMO that allows you to pretty much dress up however you want. Of course, I went the boring route and just tried to make an avatar that looked like I do.

Did you miss Massively TV last week? Are you too busy to dig through a week's worth of video to get to the highlights? Never fear! We've done the work for you right here in Previously on MV TV, a roundup of epic battles, tragic deaths, and juicy outtakes from last week's livestreams.
