Do pandaren taxis ever get faster? ~340% is much slower than the 540% I was used to, and means I'm back to flying myself around again.
They do not get faster. Enjoy the scenery! If you're level 90 and have your flying mount, yeah, fly yourself around. The flight paths take pretty, scenic routes. Flying yourself, you can travel in a straight line from point A to point B, so it's oftentimes faster than even 540% speed flight paths.

I've got an item that no vendors will take - it's a gray that looks to be a receipt of a purchase from Darkmoon from a boss in a Summit questline. Is this something that I should bring to Darkmoon...or am I good to just delete it, since apparently it can't be sold?
That item is just there for flavor. It's supposed to be amusing and that's all. No vendor in their right mind is going to purchase your receipt/proof-of-purchase from a different store, I'd hope!

Clear your cookies on your phone. At some point, you must have hit the button that takes you to our non-mobile version of the site. That is set as your preference from that point forward, so you don't get stuck in a referral loop. If you purge the cookie, you'll be back on mobile.

Little known fact: Darkmoon Island isn't a place, it's a state of being. It's a plane of euphoria. When you take the portal to get there, you don't actually go anywhere, you just experience Darkmoon Island. Darkmoon Island is wherever you are.
No, that's not true, I'm full of crap. I'm pretty sure those crates being full of Darkmoon Faire stuff in Pandaria is only a result of them not re-itemizing the crates when implementing them in this expansion.
