WRUP: Because you're wearing a costume this weekend
Halloween is right around the corner. Let's be honest, though: this weekend is the Halloween party weekend. This weekend is when we will dress up as ghouls, ghosts, and goblins and terrorize one another with pumpkin shots and pumpkin muffins and pumpkin pies and pumpkin all the things. We might go a second round on Halloween itself, but this weekend is the party weekend.
So let's see what the intrepidly ghoulish WoW Insider staff is doing this weekend...
Alex Ziebart (@AlexZiebart) I'm going to bang out Operation: Valkyrie in Mass Effect 3, then it's back to Mists of Pandaria! Dailies, dungeons, scenarios, the standard fare. You know how it is.
Dan Desmond (@Antigen_) I'll flirt with capping my VP, doing August Celestial dailies, and running LFR, but I think I'm mostly going to take it easy. I promised a friend I'd play Crysis a bit, so I might possibly get in on that, but I hope to finish up a couple other things as well, so... I guess I have no idea!
Daniel Whitcomb (@danielwhitcomb) I'm down to just needing August Celestials and Shado-Pan exalted on my main, so I'll keeping up on those dailies and my Ironpaw Token dailies, as well as farming Banquet mats so I can get Master of the Ways and running heroics to cap VP and shore up a couple last weak points on my gear. I also plan to take my Turian Soldier with a Hurricane out for a spin on ME3 MP for the weekend challenge. Finally, any other weekend playtime left will be devoted to leveling my warlock.
For Halloween, I'm going as Wilson from Home Improvement. Already got the fisherman's cap and the plaid shirt, just need a good fence to hide behind. Will probably work on that this weekend too!
Elizabeth Wachowski (@leeatwaterlives) Maybe getting my druid above level 86? The baby has really nuked my game time.
Joe Perez (@lodurzj) more rep grinding, valor capping, and checking lots of math stuffs. Trying to get a chest and gloves crafted for me and then maybe work on some jeweled panther mounts.
Lisa Poisso (@lisapoisso)Finally caught up my archaeology, so I can spend more time on tailoring this weekend. Also plan to hit some BGs, because Saturday night's alright...
Matt "Matticus" Low (@matticus) not much of a Halloween guy myself. This weekend ill be in Vegas. I will attempt to see if my ingame luck with loot translates IRL.
Matt Rossi (@MattWRossi) Not really likely to play WoW. Watching my cat to make sure he stays okay. Thanks again to everyone who helped us save him.
Matt Walsh (@Rhidach) I just got my alt to 85, so I'll be leveling him and grabbing ever mining and node I can get my greedy hands on along the way. No costume for me this year, other than perhaps Dude Covered In Candy Wrappers.
Megan O'Neill (@slowpoker) I suspect Pet Battles while I set Simulation Craft to work. I've gotten attached to my themed teams. The really close (I almost die!) battles are the best and I hate crabs. Frikkin' Renewing Mists. I'm working on reps as I feel like it, with only August Celestials as my "required" until I get it to Revered for the bracer enchants. Sadly, my guild isn't doing its Halloween raid this year, but I might dress up in-game anyway, since nothing will happen for me IRL.
Michael Gray (@writegray) Gotta party, gotta party. Writing the 3rd Mystery Hounds; I was crazy pleased with The Bear of Fox Mountain.
Olivia Grace (@oliviadgrace) 3 letters: PTR. Some arenas, too, I suspect, but the Brawler's Guild is literally amazing. I really hope they work out a way to fix the wait times, which are super-long at the moment if it's busy, but it's the best thing since arenas in my book. Can't wait for it to go live!
Robin Torres (@cosmiclaurel) The Spawn has her birthday festivities this weekend. Why make it just one day? I'll fit some Mists stuff in in between -- I hope. Bonus: I'll be going as the escort of either Zombie Princess Leia or Zombie Fairy -- The Spawn hasn't decided yet. I could be a zombie mom, I guess. I've lost so much weight that none of my costumey things fit me. Maybe I'll put on a bunch of clothes and go as Unhealthy Robin. That was pretty scary.
