So as far as I know that unmarked island northwest of Kun-Lai Summit is in fact some kind of Zandalari Troll Isle. Can we expect some kind of troll raid in the future, continuing the story of Gara'jal the Spiritbinder? Maybe even in Patch 5.2?
I think it's safe to assume that island will have something to do with 5.2's raid, which will almost certainly involve the Zandalari and the Thunder King.
Why aren't there any weapons being offered for valor points by the various Pandaria factions?
As far as I'm aware, you've never been able to get (mainhand) weapons for valor points, so it's just continuing the pattern, really. The raid-level weapon has always been something you needed to acquire by dipping your feet into raiding. There's gotta be something that still works that way!
Does anyone remember specifically why the "Hand of A'dal" title was removed? Is it just because it's pretty easy to get these days?
Blizzard didn't remove the title, just the ability to get it. They wanted it to feel exclusive and limited -- an "I was there" kind of thing. They did the same thing with Naxx drakes. People don't always agree with that kind of thing, and Blizzard maybe doesn't either, anymore -- check out the Algalon "wear ilvl 232 gear or worse" achievement that manages to keep the challenge alive without removing the reward altogether.
Is there a wow insider section where we can see how some of the professional players play wow? Sort of like "How We Play"? Listing the techniques they have, hardware they use, addon they prefer, something they do better than others? It doesn't even have to be professional players. It could even be just wow insider staff. Or perhaps people from the most competitive guilds. Thanks.
We don't currently have a feature like that, but I'll pass that along for you. Here's mine: the only addon I use is DBM and sometimes I use S to walk backward instead of turning and running. PEACE~
