Do the Grand Commendations apply on different servers? How about cross-faction? And if so,what about Operation: Shieldwall and the Dominance Offensive - If I get the commendation for Shieldwall, will I get double rep on my horde alt for Dominance?

Grand Commendations work cross-faction and cross-server, but I haven't gotten far enough with either rep to know if a Shieldwall commendation would work for Dominance rep. Any commenters have one yet?

I think it's safe to assume that island will have something to do with 5.2's raid, which will almost certainly involve the Zandalari and the Thunder King.

As far as I'm aware, you've never been able to get (mainhand) weapons for valor points, so it's just continuing the pattern, really. The raid-level weapon has always been something you needed to acquire by dipping your feet into raiding. There's gotta be something that still works that way!

Blizzard didn't remove the title, just the ability to get it. They wanted it to feel exclusive and limited -- an "I was there" kind of thing. They did the same thing with Naxx drakes. People don't always agree with that kind of thing, and Blizzard maybe doesn't either, anymore -- check out the Algalon "wear ilvl 232 gear or worse" achievement that manages to keep the challenge alive without removing the reward altogether.

We don't currently have a feature like that, but I'll pass that along for you. Here's mine: the only addon I use is DBM and sometimes I use S to walk backward instead of turning and running. PEACE~
