WRUP: It's getting serious

Oh boy, so it appears the PlayStation 4 will be announced February 20. Now we await the inevitable Microsoft announcement of the new Xbox. There's also that whole Steam Box situation, too. We're off to the races, folks! It's getting serious.

What's everyone playing this weekend?

  • Alexander Sliwinski (@Sliwinski): With any luck, DMC will arrive from GameFly by tomorrow. I've also got to get around to playing Omerta. Oh wait, I've actually been thinking of playing some The Sims 3.
  • David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): I'm WAY into Far Cry 3 right now, though I have a beef with being unable to use any weapons in the water – you can't even punch while submerged! Don't you understand, Ubisoft? I want to recreate that classic scene from the hit film Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life!
  • JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): Little bit of cyborg stuff, little bit of ninja stuff, little bit of cyborg ninja stuff. You know.
  • Jess Conditt (@JessConditt): If I'm feeling introverted, Antichamber. If I'm feeling friendly, Skulls of the Shogun. If I'm feeling undecided, both at the same time.
  • Jordan Mallory (@Jordan_Mallory): I've been playing The CD Changer in the Mustang I Just Bought Is Broken: This Is The Worst. It's really frustrating and the only way to win is by spending hundreds of dollars.
  • Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): [...]
  • Mike Schramm (@MikeSchramm): I finally finished Mass Effect 3 last weekend, which means I will never mention it in WRUP again. Meanwhile I've started Devil May Cry, and here at Macworld I'm playing Spaceteam with friends and Pixel People on iOS by myself.
  • Mike Suszek (@MikeSuszek): Kicking off #4iF (hey guys, you should do this too: with the first of four games I plan on beating this month: Assassin's Creed. Yes, the first game in the series.
  • Richard Mitchell (@TheRichardM): I continue my deadly campaign in Fire Emblem: Awakening. I just hope it's more deadly for my enemies than it is for me. Hopefully I'll wrap up Phantasmagoria for my next column as well.
  • Sinan Kubba (@Shoinan): Zombi who? ZombiU. And a bit of Forza Horizon.
  • Steven Wong: The hunt continues with Borderlands 2.
  • Xav de Matos (@Xav): Black Ops 2's 'Revolution DLC,' might be on the docket. Also, Ludwig keeps telling me we're going to play Syndicate co-op ... but who knows when that'll happen!
