Netflix Social shares your viewing habits with Facebook friends
Starting today, the Netflix apps on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, PCs and mobile devices in the US have a Facebook sharing option, allowing users to see what programs their friends watch and send out their own recommendations in kind.
Facebook sharing isn't automatically enabled, but those interested can activate it in the social settings panel under "Your Account." If you want to keep up that hardcore image, it's possible to hide specific shows – Say Yes to the Dress, maybe – from appearing in your friends' Netflix queues.
