The Queue: Don't touch the hazelnut

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

Don't do it.

merkavar asked:

can you change spec after the boss dies and then use the extra loot roll to get a different specs gear?

It appears to work this way right now; I'm not sure if it'll continue to work after they plug in Loot Specialization in 5.3, though at that point you won't need to do a workaround anyway!

kiwiyaa asked:

Do I need an EU copy to play in europe, or can I play on US servers from england?

Unfortunately, the US and EU servers don't share the same infrastructure, so you'll need an EU account to play on EU servers and vice versa. However, if you're just talking about playing on US servers with a US account from England, yes, you can definitely do that so long as you use the US client.

justinb911 asked:

Is there a way via addon to tell the quality of a battle pet BEFORE engaging? I use PetTracker now, but it only tells me if the pet(s) is an upgrade AFTER I start the battle.

Nope, there's no way to tell prior to beginning the battle.

MTA asked:

Kalecgos gained additional powers when he became an aspect. Now that he lost them, does this mean (power wise) he is the same Kalecgos that he was before the Aspect change?

Power-wise he's way, way weaker than he was before the aspect change, as with all the former aspects. They're all basically just regular dragons now.

encryptzz asked:

Would you think blizzard would ever implement a 4th talent spec for players? I know that they have come a long way from the trees of old (sp every level!), but I feel that the new format of Talents are just itching for a 4th choice.

I think a 4th specialization, not "talent column", is something that might happen eventually. There are some pretty good options out there. Rogue tank or ranged spec, warlock tank, etc. I question the need for new classes at this point, but additional depth to ones we have would be appreciated.

Jezakael asked:

Somehow I feel they have a harder time to come up with memorable spell names for Paladins/Priests. Holy this, Divine that. Hard enough to remember them as is.

When I was creative dev for the WoW TCG, coming up with new priest and paladin ability names (5 or 6 each per set per class) was always difficult. Either the spell names existed in the game already or existed in the TCG or sounded too similar to one of the aforementioned spells. Coming up with new Seals and new Power Words ... Good grief.
