Amazon, ShopTo PS4 pre-orders no longer guaranteed for UK launch
Retailers Amazon UK and ShopTo have posted messages stating that all PlayStation 4 pre-orders made on or after August 6 will not be rendered on launch day. On August 1, retailer GAME stated it was unaware of its launch day allocation, but promised pre-order customers would have "priority" on stock.
Many retailers started taking PS4 pre-orders on June 10, following Sony's $399 announcement at E3. On top of pre-orders for the console itself, many retailers are also accepting pre-orders for the DualShock 4 controller and the PS4 Eye camera, priced at $60 each.
