Farming Simulator cultivates consoles Sept. 4
Farming Simulator, the enhanced console version of Giants Software's ubiquitous Farming Simulator 2013, will hitch up its plow and furrow the PlayStation 3/Xbox 360's fertile fields on September 4 and September 6 in North America and the UK, respectively.
In addition to all of the content present in the PC version (read: cows, tractors, etc), the console port also includes a new American (!!) farm and more vehicles. While we can't really spot any huge geographical differences between the farm in these new screenshots and what we've seen of the game previously, we assume that its Americanness will become obvious once you reach the bald eagle husbandry portion of the game.

Farming Simulator on consoles: a release date and new images!
Farming Simulator planted seeds deep within the hearts of PC players worldwide with millions of copies sold since the start of the series. Now the worldwide phenomenon Farming Simulator finally arrives on PlayStation®3 and Xbox 360® on the 4th of September. Way more than a simple port, the console versions of Giants Software's hit title bring its fair share of new content: an exclusive American environment and plenty of new vehicles! Today we are offering you the chance to learn more about this new content through these 5 images showing the new fleet of vehicles as well as the new environments that await your future farm!
For those who are lucky enough to take part in the Gamescom at Cologne from the 21st to the 25th of August, we are proud to announce that Farming Simulator on Consoles will be playable for all attendees and a preview will be presented on the A-010 stand, Hall 9. This is the perfect opportunity to put on your virtual farmer's hat before the game release on the 4th of September.
Farming Simulator invites you into the challenging world of a modern day farmer. Take on all the challenges of farming life, including animal husbandry (cows, chicken and sheep), crops, sales... it's up to you to manage and grow your own farm in a huge open world, including an all-new American environment. As your career progresses, you will control over a hundred farming vehicles and machines, faithfully recreated from the biggest names in the industry (Case IH, Deutz-Fahr, Lamborghini, Grimme, etc...), including vehicles new to Farming Simulator on consoles!
With a deep and powerful simulation experience, a large open world and a huge fleet of vehicles including brand new machines, Farming Simulator invites you aboard the largest farming simulation ever created!
