As it did with the iPhone event in September, Apple will be holding a satellite event of the upcoming October 22 "We still have a lot to cover" press event it is holding at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco, reports 9to5Mac.

While the satellite iPhone events took place in Berlin, Tokyo and Beijing, the event scheduled for October 22 will take place at the Kings Place Hall in Kings Cross, and will begin at 6 PM local time.

The October 22 event will likely see the introduction of new iPads and MacBook Pros, as well as announcing the official release dates of OS X 10.9 Mavericks and the new Mac Pro.
