Caught being uber: Aallanelk, Darkspear (EU-Alliance)
Caught being uber: Unknown member of <Icon> (US-Alliance) This happened to a guildmate the other day. He ended up running into a new player out in the world and gave him a few hundred gold to get him started. Later that day, he received an in-game mail with 5,000 gold and a note: "Thanks for helping my son. It cheers me up to know there are people out there who repay kindness with kindness." He returned the gold and told us the story. -- Anonymous member of <Icon> (US-Alliance)
I just wanted to thank the lovely night elf druid Aallanelk on Darkspear (EU), who saw my lowbie tauren paladin Aktep on Lightbringer struggling in the Ring of Blood and decided to help me out. At one point she went AFK, and I accidentally started anyway and died, but she was still waiting when I got back and I got a /sorry from her, and we continued. Through emotes, we communicated for a minute until it was time for /farewell, and it was nice to see some cross-faction kindness. If you are reading this, thank you! -- Aktep, Lightbringer (EU-Horde)[Editor's note: I guess tauren don't really get night elf gender differences, do they?]Caught being uber: Shamhazi, Windypants and Darkleton, Khaz'goroth (US-Alliance)
Today I reached the Change of Command part of the legendary cloak chain. My guild is inactive, so I was a bit worried as to how I was going to complete this part.
I put out a call on the Khaz'goroth server and within minutes had three people whisper and say they would help. A big thank you to Shamhazi [Editor's note: We didn't find a Shamhazi there, but maybe the player name will be recognizable
] , Windypants and Darkleton, who came to my aid and in no time flat had killed Warlord Bloodhilt
. They heartily congratulated me and went on their way. Their kindness was amazing. -- ShettraSend us your tales of awesome deeds
