UK's Eurogamer Expo renamed EGX London, dated for 2014

The Eurogamer Network is bringing together its two major UK expos under the blanket name of EGX, starting next year. So, the Eurogamer Expo becomes EGX London, while the PC and indie-orientated showcase Rezzed is EGX Rezzed now.

Names are all good and well, but we're sure you're more interested in the confirmed dates for what's been the UK's premier expo over the last few years. EGX London runs across September 25 to 28, 2014, at the Earl's Court venue once more, with tickets going on sale starting April 1. Meanwhile, EGX Rezzed comes to the NEC in Birmingham on March 28-30, and tickets are on sale now.

UK - 19th November 2013: Gamer Network is pleased to announce that EGX – the new name for Eurogamer Expo – is back with two events in 2014. The UK's biggest games event, EGX London takes place in September at Earls Court. And it's being complemented by EGX Rezzed, taking place in March at the NEC in Birmingham.

EGX Rezzed takes place from March 28th-30th at The NEC in Birmingham. Catering for 25,000 avid gamers, the show will feature the best of PC and indie gaming alongside the biggest next-generation console titles available during the Easter window and beyond. The show will include many of the successful features that EGX is known for including a huge retro arcade, developer sessions, cosplay, tournaments and more.

The EGX Rezzed website is now live and tickets are on sale at www.egxrezzed.net

EGX London will take over two full floors of Earls Court from 25th-28th September 2014. The event will welcome over 80,000 gamers who will be able to enjoy thousands of screens of playable games and a huge range of other gaming activities as the event continues its rapid and sustainable growth.

The EGX London website is now live at www.egxlondon.net and tickets will go on sale on April 1st 2014.

The EGX brand is already resonating with the event's huge community of followers, having been seeded with attendees and media throughout this year's show. "It's clear that the EGX community want to meet more than once a year to get hands-on with new titles, meet in a friendly atmosphere and get involved with all the activities that we're hosting." said David Lilley, Managing Director of Gamer Events. "Plus it gives publishers, developers and hardware providers another chance to show new games and products to the most engaged and vibrant group in the market."
