Random Acts of Uberness: Because Monday doesn't have to stink

Urgh, the Monday after a holiday. We've got a few weeks to plow through before winter breaks save us from the daily drill. Looking for something to keep your spirits up until then? It's looking like Azeroth's a pretty good place to find positive people and an uplifting experience.

Caught being uber: Delvthar, Khadgar (US-Alliance) Just a shoutout to a Dwarf Hunter from Khadgar named Delvthar! My home realm is also Khadgar and I was leveling my DK Gerrico with a friend and her Warlock in Dread Wastes last week, grinding to get to lvl 90! My friend and I saw a rare elite spawn and moved over near it and started buffing up and eating some stat food to take it out.

Before we could start, Delvthar swooped down on his flying mount landing just a short distance from the rare. I thought "here we go again, as has happened so many times, a lvl 90 swoops in and grabs the rare". I was more than pleasantly surprised when he not only didn't grab it, but he stood there and waited for us to tag it and then helped us kill it after which he humbly bowed, hopped on his mount and flew away! So thanks Delvthar for helping restore some faith, and for bein uber :) -- Gerrico, Khadgar (US-Alliance)

Caught being uber: Seeris, Twisted Nether (EU-Horde) On Tuesday afternoon/evening 27th November, I was running around on the Timeless Isle on my newly dinged Holy Paladin when I spotted someone doing the sprite event by Old Pi'jiu. That someone was a Protection Warrior called Seeris. As I was newly dinged and fairly new to Paladin healing, I decided to help him, both to be nice but also to get some practice at healing. Once he had completed the event, I topped him off and rode away. He then whispered me and thanked me for healing him, to which I replied "No problem", or something along those lines.

After that I didn't think any more of that, not until I logged my paladin some time later and noticed I had unread mails. "That's odd, I didn't send anything to my paladin.." I thought. Imagine my surprise when I find 2 mails from that very warrior with an Enchanted Broom and a Masterwork Lightsteel Shield!

This is one of those things you read about, but you never think you're going to get to experience yourself, so all I can say, if you see someone having some trouble somewhere, lend them a helping hand, you never know what it can lead to! --Infidus, Twisting Nether (EU-Horde)

Caught being uber: Dats, Whisperwind (US-Alliance) While recently leveling my new Dwarf Paladin thru Kun'Lai I got to the Temple of the White Tiger to do the quests to open the Vale. While doing the quest for Xuen I noticed the mobs were dying rather quickly then I spotted a level 90 Dwarf hunter from Whisperwind by the name of Dats standing in the back helping people kill the mobs for their quests.

I don't know how long he was there but I saw him help 3 others do their quests as well before he left. -- Anonymous player from Whisperwind (US)
