Weekly Webcomic Wrapup is transitioning to digital

Earlier today, fellow weekend warrior Thomas Schulenberg and I briefly discussed our collections of entertainment media. I have the largest collection of movies and TV shows among my friends with roughly 300 physical cases stored in nice, neat order on a bookshelf. Ironically, it's my game collection that's lacking. I currently hold about 80 or so games across all generations in physical form, which is pretty sad compared to some enthusiasts out there.

And while I once considered myself a diehard physical-copies-only sort of gamer, I've found more and more that I'm comfortable with a library stored not on discs and cartridges, but hard drives and servers. My Steam collection is just as large as my physical collection, and I've even replaced several physical game copies with the digital PC version due to improvements in graphics or modding capability. What happened to me? What happened to us? What happened to my schoooooo?

Why not share your thoughts on physical vs. digital game libraries after voting for this week's webcomics after the break?
