WRUP: Breaking Gnome

This week saw the premiere episode of Azeroth Choppers, a new webseries featuring Paul Jr. from American Chopper. Two teams, Alliance and Horde, are being challenged to construct the ultimate chopper for the faction they represent -- and both bikes will be put up to player vote, with the most popular chopper being given a model in World of Warcraft itself. Sure, it might sound kind of silly, but it was also pretty fun -- and in the spirit of fun, we decided to ask our staff not only what they are playing this weekend, but what television spoof they would like to see next?

Alex Ziebart (@AlexZiebart) I'm going to be doing more Heroes of the Storm this weekend. I genuinely expected we'd have the Warlords alpha/beta by this point, so I don't have much to do in WoW for the time being. I want an Azerothian version of Hoarders. They can start with Anne and Rossi's banks and void storage. Puns that combine hoard and Horde need not apply.

Touché, Alex ... touché.

Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey) I may hop in WoW a little bit this weekend and fiddle with my alt, but the majority of this weekend is likely going to be spent writing. And maybe a little Hearthstone, if I can fit it in!

Bonus Answer: I want to see Azeroth Pickers. Mike and Frank go through some of the oldest, dustiest accounts in search of rare and valuable items that have been removed from the game. They can start with my bank alt. I have a guild bank cram FULL of old stuff!

Elizabeth Harper (@Faience) I've been too busy with this real life thing (great FPS, lousy writing) lately to game very much. I did get into the Heroes alpha, but having never played this kind of game, playing through the tutorial felt pretty alien. Maybe it's a Diablo weekend.

Bonus question: I don't know, but it ought to involve gnomes.

Matthew Rossi (@MatthewWRossi) I woke up to this. The only game I want to play right now involves hibernation.

WoW should do a home renovation show with Mike Holmes where he comes in and fixes lairs and dungeons with obvious problems. Like all the broken pipes in Naxx or the breached sewer in Black Temple.

Olivia Grace (@oliviadgrace) This weekend it's leveling in Heroes, after the wipe, and MOAR ARENAS!

Azeroth Choppers dropped to limited fanfare from me. I'd like to see... hmmm. Well to be honest I don't know what they could do that I wouldn't inwardly groan at, but maybe Azeroth Chopped? Making in-game food, like Sally does in Well-Fed Buff, perhaps.

Sarah Pine (@ilaniel) I won't be playing much of anything this weekend. I'm going to a party for Stacey Landry, formerly of WoW Insider on Saturday because she's in my town. On Sunday it's both Easter and my first wedding anniversary! So busy times for me.

I totally want an Iron Horde Chef show. I think Kargath has great kitchen potential.

The weekend is the perfect time to kick back, relax and enjoy some game time. Are you an achievement junkie? Can't get enough raiding? Rolling a new alt? Considering taking the leap into roleplaying? Whatever your favorite way to play

World of Warcraft, let us know in the comments what you're playing this weekend!
