Monday Night Combat dev's Toy Rush available now on iOS

Monday Night Combat developer Uber Entertainment has launched its tower defense-styled strategy game Toy Rush as a free download at the iTunes App Store.

Toy Rush's gameplay revolves around a collectible card component, adding a randomized element to the proceedings while upping the compulsion factor. Players open packs of cards in search of murderous teddy bears, dapper sharks, and other creatures they can use to fortify their defenses while upgrading their home base.

Toy Rush includes 50 single-player campaign levels, and players can also battle friends using built-up troops and artillery in an asynchronous multiplayer mode.

Defend, Attack, Collect: Toy Rush Launches for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

SEATTLE – May 15, 2014 – Uber Entertainment in partnership with Tilting Point is thrilled to announce the launch of Toy Rush™ on the App Store for iPhone®, iPad®, and iPod touch®. Toy Rush is a free-to-play tower offense and defense game with a collectible card twist. Players discover and collect a variety of powerful toys and then use those toys across multiplayer and single-player modes.

Tear open card packs to build a toy army and then deploy gigantic riding bears, top-hatted sharks, and four-wheeled cats against gum-ball blaster towers, bottle rocket launchers, and gum traps. Collect rare and powerful super toys, build and defend your base from attack, and customize your clubhouse.

"We're happy to announce the release of Toy Rush on the App Store, and let everyone get their hands on it. With Toy Rush, we wanted to deliver all the awesomeness of a classic genre game and throw in an extra element to spice it up," said John Comes, Design Director at Uber Entertainment. "We think the mix of deep tower-based strategy with collectible cards is pretty special. The multiplayer is compelling, too, and gives people an endless source of content."

Toy Rush's seamless multiplayer lets you attack your friends and take their hard-earned tickets, in addition to defending your own base from their designs. Toy Rush includes 50 strategy-filled single-player missions that have you taking down competitive Toy Rushers on a quest to prove that you have the best clubhouse of them all.
