WRUP: Nostalgia is an insult in MMOland
Welcome back to Massively's What Are You Playing, the game where we tell you what we're playing this weekend and you tell us that we love games only because of nostalgia, but the games you love are real and true and objectively awesome!
@ceruleangrey: I'll be doing my thing in Guild Wars 2's Edge of the Mists this weekend if I can manage to tear myself away from Landmark. It's really taking every ounce of my willpower not to plunk down $20 for unlimited beta access, but I'll pull through somehow. In the meantime, I'll just use the beta time I have left to furiously practice my voxelmancy.
@nbrianna: I have no idea what I'm going to play this weekend. I love this feeling! I finished up my stint in Villagers and Heroes for an article coming next week, and now my plate is clear. I'll just have to click around my games list and see what strikes my fancy. Landmark has been calling to me...
@Eliot_Lefebvre: Star Trek Online is running its Featured Episode reruns, so that's something to do for the weekend. I'm also working my way through Final Fantasy III for my personal site and starting to dip my toes into Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. Add in a bit of Final Fantasy XIV and WildStar (before beta ends) and I'm pretty well filled for the weekend.
@Sypster: Since Diablo III is pumping out extra legendaries for the game's anniversary, I'm definitely going to be taking advantage of that. I probably will get in some time with my Necromancer in Guild Wars 2 as she rounds the 50s looking to hit level 80 in the near future, and I might pop in to Lord of the Rings Online as well.
@Shaddoe: Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to do much gaming this weekend due to a wrist injury (insert joke here). But if I rest it enough, I hope to be able to raid in Star Wars: The Old Republic on Sunday. Our group is finally ready to take a step into nightmare modes.
@MJ_Guthrie: I seriously have too many games to play this weekend! I have to cut my list down. So let's see... I'm moving along my story questline at a decent pace in Star Wars: The Old Republic, so I will keep on keeping on there. I also want to get back into some Landmark building; I've been touring so much and seeing what others have created that I haven't done anything myself! I'll be tinkering with the Black Gold Online beta a bit more and blow a few baddies up in Marvel Heroes. But I have to draw the line here, or I won't get my personal projects done and ready to launch!
