One Tap Quest will destroy your productivity

The internet is a lot like the Cave of Secrets from Disney's Aladdin. There's a ton of hidden treasure in there, and who can say where it all came from? Such is the case with One Tap Quest, a simple browser game coded in HTML5 that's been making the viral rounds. And now that we've been infected, we're passing it on to you. Sorry, and you're welcome.

Here's how it works: you play as a single medieval fantasy warrior - or perhaps more fittingly, you play as the hand of fate that guides him/her. Simply place the warrior where you want them by clicking the left mouse button, then release to send them on their way. As they bump into enemies and power-ups, the warrior will either gain XP and level up or come into contact with something too strong and be knocked out, causing you to restart. Progress and items aren't saved, and enemies and power-ups respawn each time in random locations, making this something of a roguelike-lite. Diet Roguelike, if you prefer.

So far, no one seems to have come forth to claim the game as their own. We've been erm ... researching this game since yesterday, and the best score we've got is 20,500, courtesy of Contributing Editor Danny Cowan. Think you can do better?
