The Queue: Got your goat

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey) is answering all kinds of questions today.

Goats are very talented creatures. Here you see some goats on backup vocals for One Direction. Aren't they the most majestic things you've ever seen?

gazaa07 asked:

Q4tQ: Now that we are going back to Draenor (granted, a Draenor that wasn't shattered by Demons / Ner'Zhul) do you think we will end up in tier sets that resemble the best that Outland had to offer (T6 FTW)?

It's an alternate reality kind of Draenor, and in that case man I hope we see something like that -- alternate re-imagined versions of those tier sets would be pretty neat. At the very least, we do know that we'll be seeing some gear that definitely has an orcish or draenic influence in its design, which I like.

Fizzl asked:

Will the Black Harvest title be account-wide for warlocks? I ask because I have a warlock on an old server who's level 86 and has the tome, but it's likely that if I ever play a lock it'll be on my new server. If I can get the title on my new server using my old warlock, I'll go for it. Otherwise, I'll need to level a bit.

The title will in fact be account-wide.

CaptainCakewalk asked:

Q4tQ: I've asked this before and it (spookily) worked wonders so here goes! Which updated race model do you think we will see next? Or even hope to see? Personally, I really want to see Trolls and female Tauren, the latter especially!

P.s: If It happens again like last time, something spooky is going on! *starts twilight zone music*

We've answered this before, I know we have, but myself in particular? I want to see the male human and male night elf models. Male human especially -- I want to see what they did to the face. I'm dying to know. But mostly I'm answering this question again in the hopes that perhaps it will somehow summon more Artcraft updates next week. Let's see if it works!

Aubrey asked:

My boyfriend and I are only just now starting the ToT daily hub. When we started, we kept getting asked to do solo scenarios. I realized halfway through them (on about the third one) characters were referencing events and exploits I'd never actually done. I think we got bumped up because we both already have plenty of Shado-Pan Assault rep due to LFR. Did we just lock ourselves out of the earlier content by skipping ahead, or will we get to still do the earlier quests?

No, you most definitely did not! So here's the deal: When patch 5.2 originally came out, the Isle of Thunder was locked according to section. Each individual server had its own progression bar for participation, and once that bar was filled, another section of the Isle was unlocked, and a solo scenario was unlocked that showed the progression on the Isle. Once the Isle had been completely unlocked, those solo scenarios were just made available to everyone. New players could just queue up for the solo scenarios one after another and witness exactly how the Isle was unlocked, back when it was current content.

As it stands now, you'll still get all the same daily quests you would have if you'd done the content while it was current -- you just don't have to wait for the Isle sections to unlock. So in a way, you're viewing the Isle's storyline in fast-forward. Don't worry, you aren't missing anything! Although if you have not completed the quest chains for Domination Offensive or Operation: Shieldwall from patch 5.1, there might be some story references on the Isle of Thunder that you won't quite get. I'd recommend going back and doing those chains -- 5.1's story was fantastic.

zadji asked:

I apologize for asking a question that likely has been asked many times...why exactly can't we xmog greys and whites?

That's an amazing question, and I wish I had an amazing answer for you. Unfortunately, the only answer I have is "because the devs decided not to allow that," which isn't a very good answer at all. Frankly, I kind of wish they'd relax the restrictions on transmog a little. People are pretty creative with what's available, but I'd love to see the kinds of outfits that could be created if the limits were relaxed a bit.

Snufalufagus asked:

QftQ:I know Sylvanas could care less about Draenor or what happens on it. But I think she would be interested in raising some of the most powerful orcs to ever have lived. Just saying that an undead Gul'dan and Sylvanas super villain team up would make me happy. How likely do you think that could happen?

Not at all -- I don't think we're really going to see Sylvanas at all on Draenor. I do think, now that Garrosh and the Kor'kron have been taken out of the picture and everyone is preoccupied with Voljin's reign, that Sylvanas will quietly slip back to the Undercity and begin working on whatever else she has in mind for the Forsaken. With everything that is going on on Draenor, she could do so relatively under the radar.

Vyrianthor asked:

Q4tQ: Does Wrathion count as a child? He's mature in many ways, but not physically. As an extension, if he were to be a raid boss, would you feel uncomfortable with killing such a young creature?

He's two. In human years, he's a child. In dragon years, he's a whelp. But as he's pointed out, dragons and humans are two very different things. Wrathion's done a very good job of demonstrating just how quickly a dragon's mind develops, even if his body doesn't necessarily grow as quickly.

And they better not make him a raid boss. I'm his favorite rogue. He told me so himself!
