WRUP: The one about jumping

Welcome back to Massively's What Are You Playing, the game in which we tell you what we're playing this weekend and you jump and jump and jump a lot in MMOs because you're not too old to play video games, no sir!

Anatoli Ingram, Columnist

@ceruleangrey: I haven't finished my Festival of the Four Winds achievements in Guild Wars 2 yet. The last time the Zephyr Sanctum rolled in, I immediately ran around doing the sky crystal scavenger hunt and finished it within a couple of days. Then I was sad because I didn't have any more crystals to hunt. It's like eating all of your Halloween candy too fast. So this time I've saved my sky crystal hunting, and I'm ready to spend the weekend finishing them up.

@nbrianna: Blizzard just emailed me a seven-day pass to return to World of Warcraft, so I'll probably log in, look at all my tmog gear, visit my farm, and log out. Thank goodness for Steam sales.

Eliot Lefebvre, Senior Contributing Editor

@Eliot_Lefebvre: I've bought my Spacious House in WildStar, so I'll be continuing on the path to 50 (not far to go now) and earning up more money, theoretically for important stuff but most likely for housing decorations and dyes. I've also got Star Trek Online's summer event, and I should get prepped for the next Final Fantasy XIV patch before it goes live (even if I'm not worried about kitting out my non-Ninja classes at this point). Last but not least, I've got both Final Fantasy III and Nier to play through for my personal site.

Jef Reahard, Managing Editor

@jefreahard: I'm finally into Elder Scrolls Online's veteran levels and am currently splitting time between Aldmeri quests and wandering around Cyrodiil. Other than that, the Steam Summer Sale is ongoing, so I really have no idea what I'll be playing from one day to the next.

Justin Olivetti, Senior Contributing Editor

@Sypster: WildStar, WildStar, WildStar. It'd be great if I could hit level 25 and get access to my hoverboard, but my split interest between my Medic and Engineer might work against that. Also, the insane housing options keep me playing homemaker past the point of shame. But no matter what, I'm vastly enjoying my time on Nexus.

Larry Everett, Columnist

@Shaddoe: I hate to admit this, but I might not play a lot of MMOs this weekend. I still have to level in WildStar, and I'm trying to earn back some Star Wars: The Old Republic credits after spending so much off the last Cartel pack. But the Steam Summer Sale hit, and I never played The Witcher. Who can pass up a good game for only $2.00?

MJ Guthrie, Contributing Editor

@MJ_Guthrie: I'd like to do more Tokyo adventures in The Secret World, but since none of my friends is really there, I might spend more time in Transylvania. And I just can't get enough of the caves in Landmark, so I will be trying to seek out treasure there a good share of my time! I'm also hoping to help a friend or two hit 90 in EverQuest II so we can do more dungeons and stuff together, as well as devote a little time to Marvel Heroes.

Shawn Schuster, Senior Editor

@Epykbeard: It's all WildStar for me as I close up this month's Choose My Adventure next week. I'm looking forward to getting into housing and playing around with some alts to compare the other classes to my Spellslinger.

At the start of every weekend, we catch up with the Massively staff members and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" (Otherwise known as: WRUP!) Join us to see what we're up to in and out of game -- and catch us in the comments to let us know what you're playing, too!
