Strike it rich in Destiny with this Glimmer-farming loop
If you're enjoying the Destiny beta but feel you could be enjoying it a bit more if only you had a massive surplus of Glimmer and Engrams to trade for precious gear upgrades, the above video should help.
According to PlayStation MVP "tripleWRECK," one of the earliest locations players visit in the beta contains a circuit of Glimmer-stocked chests that can be harvested in a loop. Each time a chest is looted in Destiny, the game spawns another chest in a semi-random location. As there are a finite number of possible chest locations, if you know where the next chest is likely to appear you can simply follow this route collecting an effectively infinite supply of loot, and ignoring or battling enemies as you so desire.
While this might seem a dull way to spend your time in the futuristic shooter, it's undeniably lucrative. TripleWRECK claims that players can earn "10,000 Glimmer or more" in just an hour using this method.
