WRUP: Lore lawyers
Welcome back to Massively's What Are You Playing, the game in which we tell you what we're playing this weekend and you answer this riddle: If a studio reboots the lore for a MOBA, will anyone notice?
@ceruleangrey: I'll be trying in vain to get one of my characters leveled enough to grab all of the vanity clothing from the Lightning event in Final Fantasy XIV. Apart from that, I'll probably spend some time in Guild Wars 2 catching up on crafting things. I still need to get Huntsman and Artificer to level 500.
@nbrianna/blog: My PC is back in order after a month in boxes, and my this-should-totally-not-still-be-functioning raid array is in fact still functioning, which means maybe, just maybe, I'm going to get to do something fun. Guild Wars 2 is on deck -- I should have a ton of birthday presents to unpack.
@Eliot_Lefebvre/blog: The Sims 4 is out, it's fun, and I'm enjoying my time in it. I should also take some time to tour the WildStar roleplaying server before it's smashed into a fine gray paste by the oncoming steamroller that are megaservers, and I'm still farming money and reputation in Final Fantasy XIV. Also, I'm right on the cusp of finishing up Final Fantasy IV, even though the columns I write about it won't be going live until mid-November at the earliest. Yay, working ahead!
@jefreahard: Zomg Space Engineers!
@Sypster/blog: Right now I have WildStar and RIFT on the brain, so probably both of those will get some good play. I'm still fiddling with my WildStar Engineer's build to try to get a balance between good damage output and my own playstyle, but I think I'm getting there. And even though I do have a level 56 in RIFT, chances are that I'll probably reroll just to learn the game all over again before the expansion hits.
@Shaddoe/blog: I am roleplaying again this weekend in Star Wars: The Old Republic. I'm attempting to do more Sith political intrigue. Another guild has hopped onto the idea, and hopefully some fun and interesting stories will come out of this. My guild will do some raiding and group content to help gear some returning raiders so that we can start progressing again at the end of everyone's summer vacation.
@MikedotFoster/blog: Mostly Dota 2 with some heaping helpings of this month's Choose My Adventure game, Elite: Dangerous. I may tag in for a little StarCraft II as well, but only as a burden to drag in a 3v3 scenario.
@MJ_Guthrie/blog: I plan on spending time in ArcheAge's open beta (as if you had to ask!). I'll also be tinkering with finishing touches on my newest maze in Landmark and spend some time in Marvel Heroes smashing things to smithereens. That should about fill up my weekend!
