The Queue: We're having an adventure

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today.

We seem to be rather light on questions lately. That's no surprise, given where we stand now: days away from BlizzCon and not much further from the official release of Warlords of Draenor. In a lot of ways, we've exhausted what there is to be said until those events hit us square in the face. Admittedly, I am not too upset about this fact -- because today's Queue is being written from a hotel room in Barstow, California. The town is a madhouse and the wifi is terrible. Please bear with me; we're in the middle of adventure.

@OriginalMrGoat asked:

Any bets as to what fills the Blizcon void?

I think Blizzard has another new game to announce. Something on the scale of Hearthstone -- a smaller title, but still clearly a Blizzard title. I feel that's the way Blizzard will be moving in the future. Frequent small releases and only rarely new installments of titles the scale of StarCraft or Diablo.

ScottLeyes asked:

Anyone else having issues with assets not loading in game when teleporting/logging in/phasing to a new instance?

This has been happening to me since 6.0. I figured it would pass, but it seems pretty consistent. I'll log in, my toon will be invisible for a few seconds, then I hit my mount button, she disappears again for a few more seconds, reappearing with a mount. I can still move, just not see her.

Could this be a glitch related to CASC?

I don't know if it has anything to do with CASC or not, unfortunately. I can say you're not alone in this, however. I was experiencing that exact thing and wondering if it was just my nowhere-near-top-of-the-line PC struggling with patch 6.0, but it was actually running quite smoothly otherwise. Models and doodads such as resource nodes took an eternity to appear while I could do everything else with no lag or stuttering at all. Very strange.

I'm not a technical enough mind to speculate in a meaningful way.

RufusHonkerIV asked:

Leftover Timeless armor - sell or keep? I've got two bags full on my bank alt. I don't see a reason to keep (Draenor should give better stuff for future alts). I was also thinking if I should vendor it I should convert it into armor first (on toons I can) - the tokens get 5g apiece but the armor they convert into is more like 22g. Thoughts?

As was recommended in the comments yesterday, it might be a good idea to save a set of each if you have a bank alt with space to spare. You never know when you'll level a new alt. Given you can nearly hit level 90 through Jade Forest alone these days, having those items around to use will be a big help stepping into Warlords of Draenor content with that character. If you don't have a bank alt? I say just turn it all into armor and vendor it. Keeping it around isn't necessary, just helpful.
