Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today.

Gallywix, you need to see a dentist.

Lenneth asked:

So I'm wondering how do players who haven't gone hardcore into professions/get lucky with auctioning boes make decent gold in WoD? I had a lot of success with mining before the IoT was introduced, then I capitalized on on the mats from the troll rares. Aside from maybe a small handful of gold from garrison missions I'm not amassing any wealth and that really hurts my serious mount collecting efforts.

I suspect this is going to differ from server to server. I've had people from other servers say the gear that results from crafting sells very well -- but in my experience, it doesn't sell at all. Between my characters' various tradeskills, all I've managed to actually sell as far as crafted items is an epic engineering gun, and that was only for 4,000g or so. Hardly worth the time invested in it, and considering how many work orders go into every craft, not something you can pump out.

I've actually had pretty good luck selling raw resource despite everyone seemingly having a glut of it. Players who have the forge, jewelcrafting building, or the engineering hut, but have neglected mining, tend to run out of ore. Tailors seem to have a perpetual shortage of cloth, and so on. A stack of True Iron Ore isn't going to pull in thousands upon thousands of gold at this point, but depending on the day of the week, it'll sell for a passable amount. Certainly better than vendoring it. Fish also sells quite well. All but Fire Ammonite (and the junk catch of Crescent Saberfish). Why? Beats me.

fromfallbrook asked:

I just switched back to alliance from horde on my 100 priest after being horde since 5.1 but to my dismay all the quests in WoD has been reset, even the ones I completed. I need to do all the quest to unlock the followers, so, my question is the is a bug or intended?. If it is intended why doesn't blizzard warn you before faction changing?

I'd have to assume it's intended. So much of the expansion is tied together what with followers, outposts, treasures, and so forth, that it almost seems it would be required to play through everything again. It isn't all necessarily a 1:1 conversion and so much is unlocked through the questing process.

alpha5099 asked:

So Gallywix in official art looks nothing like the in-game Gallywix. I assume someday, maybe, he'll get updated to look that way. I was wondering though: Gallywix is shown smoking a cigar. Is that the only instance of tobacco use in Azeroth?

There are actually many references to tobacco in Azeroth! There was a tobacco shop in Stratholme and nods to it in Plaguelands quests. The draenei and blood elves each have their own style of hookah. Other races may have hookahs laying round as well, but I'm not completely certain about that. I'm pretty sure I've seen them in troll dungeons/raids, though.

@ThijsSmedts asked:

just finished Nagrand and was wondering how Garrosh got Gorehowl.

Grommash doesn't have Gorehowl in all of his current appearances in Warlords of Draenor. He wields a boring axe that looks like a green you'd buy off of the auction house. Considering Grommash doesn't have it, he likely gave it to Garrosh when Garrosh was named warchief of the Warsong while Grom has ascended to command the Iron Horde as a whole.

@thancrus asked:

what the point of the choose the rep option? I can't pick an applicable rep to this expansion.

It's a feature from Mists of Pandaria. You can still select Mists of Pandaria reputations if you want to work on them for completion's sake, but you don't have to pick one if you really don't want to do so.
